Kalkidan
In various cultures, names carry stories. Studio Kebena’s founder Kalkidan was given her name (meaning: promise in Amharic) as the first-born child of her parents. It symbolises the promise they made to each other to one day start a family. This personal story is captured in a short video, narrated by Kalkidan.
